LOST
My name is JC Candanedo and I am a London-based Visual Artist. This is my photography story called Lost, which I shot in collaboration with actor Peter Radford in 2014 when he came down to London all the way from Nottingham. Before I took these photos, we spoke about his life, his past and his beautiful poetry. He shared his poem “Lost” with me, and the lines of the poem inspired this set of images.
I remember this day like it was yesterday. I had just set up as a full-time photographer and this was one of my first shoots. What a delightful experience. Nowadays, I’ve evolved so much as a photographer, as a person and as a human being that I feel like I’ve lived a whole life for every year since I took these images.
